In the past 2 years Yael has been writing and composing a new Album: “Tigers and the Hummingbird”. This album will be recorded, 100% analogue live to tape, with the producer Guy Sternberg under his label Low Swing Records, on 2-5 of April.
Most of the songs in this album are dealing with the fine line between subconscious and conscious. Dealing with Complex Post Trauma both on a personal level (Yael recovery from cancer in 2015 and dealing with childhood Trauma of abuse) and social level. These new songs are a brave dive into the most intimate areas of Yael’s soul and experiences. Aiming to share the shadows of the heart while hopefully revealing a ray of light that will allow the listeners catharsis and inspiration to arise. The 2 concerts planed for April 8th and 9th at FRAMED will be preformed by Yael’s trio, with Haggai Cohen Milo on Bass and Tomer Moked Blum on Guitars and Viola. Yael, Tomer and Haggai have been working together for 4 years now and will be arriving straight from the recording studio to these 2 world premier shows, presenting the new album, way before it’s published.
